What is Vfe max flaps extended speed on the SQ2?

I have deployed the 1st notch of flaps as fast as 80 mph. I wait until less than 60 mph to to deploy full flaps.

Bearsnack, I'm not sure what the SQ2 Vfe speed is but I think the standard supercub Vfe speed is 85 mph. However, with the over sized flaps I would use slower speeds when extending and retracting the flaps. With full flaps slower is better and will put less flap loading and stress on the system. With the SLATS the SQ2 will fly slower than one with out so it is no problem delaying flap extension compared to a stock supercub. I've flown two SQ2's and I usually do not have flaps out until below 50 mph and much slower for the final notch of flaps.

Hi Randy,
I was looking for a number to put in the operators manual. The SQ2 does not seem to need flaps as soon as a PA-18 on final approach. That speaks to the stability of the wing and the difference in lift generated at those speeds.
